Please mail your offers to trek@trekking-ukraine.com Golitsyn pathGolitsyn path, named so after prince L.Golitsyn, who lived and planted wine nearby, starts near Sudak (being more exact, Novyi Svet village) on the south-west coast of Green Bay (Sudak-Liman), under the northern slope array Hoba-Kaya. Going behind the cape, it leads to one of the wonders of the Novyi Svet - giant natural grotto, made by the sea waves in the rocks. The height of the Grotto "ceiling" is up to 25-30 meters! In the depth of the grotto one can see a stage for musicians, and behind it - the shed in the wall, leading to one of the rooms of "wine library" of Prince Golitsyn. Here in the floor is also dug a small pit, where constantly clean spring water is accumulated. In the sea, under the arches of the grotto can be seen a huge block that fell once with the "ceiling" - a stone "Turtle". Under it is through underwater tunnel. Of the cool shell grotto trail leads to the west, under the southern precipices Hoba-Kai, into the world of chaos blocks, of darkness and narrow stairs, driven in the rock, perhaps even by the oldest inhabitants of the coast - Tavres ... In a precipice, you can see remnants of corals (150 million years old!), sea hedgehogs, algae - inhabitants of warm Jurassic ocean. Descent leads to the Blue Bay beach that at the west interconnects narrow, elongated far into the sea Cape Kapchik. In the middle part of the cape it is thoroughly pierced by the gallery of Skvoznoy grotto - a natural 77 meters long cave, laid on tectonic spill. The path climbes to watershed of Cape Kapchik and, finally, in front of us opens dazzling panorama of the Blue Bay (Delik-Liman), over which are rising the majestic Gothic cathedral ruins-shaped towering cliffs of Karaul-Oba. Equipped trekking path ends at the western entrance of the grotto Skvoznoy. |
